Jools couldn't believe his luck. He was so happy to be in the States and of course, to meet Valentina.
He saw her as a real-life doll. Yes, he wasn't sure if he wanted to tell her about his doll-making. Not that he was a scientist or anything, but he did find making doll clothes therapeutic.
And then when he found out her whole room was full of her sock creatures creation, he was certain he'd found his soul mate.
Of course, there was her boyfriend to worry about, but Jools didn't have time for him. It was as if he'd stepped into a whole new world that he'd often dreamed of. It felt as if Valentina understood him. Even after the first few minutes, they'd met when her family picked him up at the airport, he knew exactly where he wanted to be.
Jools was certain, he was destined to be Valentina's best friend.
