you had me at hello
Ellie knew it was real. She was certain of it when Drew kissed her back in July when the girls were with Lon. She knew it had to be.
She hadn't forgotten Drew the first moment she met him so long ago. He was so adorable, yet shy. But so proper.
It was fun to see this side of him now. He was a regular guy after all, even if he'd probably been playing a violin since he was born.
She giggled when he told her about what he had said to the colleague.
"I don't know why I even did it." He gritted with a smile. "Are you mad at me?"
"You just don't want anything to change." She told him. Summer was almost over.
"I don't want to go out with him and don't even want to invite him over." She knew he was serious. "I'm the worst." He went on to help her with the dishes, after another evening meal. Their hands touched. His warmth was next to her shoulder.
"So what are we going to do about this?" She couldn't help but ask.
"Do about this?" He scrubbed a plate a little harder as if maybe he wasn't doing this right.
Ellie laughed softly.
"You know," she wanted to know where they would all live if they moved in together. She would hate to mess up the girls routine too much. They loved this house.
"We could get married where Draco got married." He looked at her with a quick smile.
Ellie wasn't sure what to say, but she liked the idea.
