Rosie didn't mean for it to happen, but she kept dreaming about Sunny or was she dreaming about Sunny's brother Sid? She was full of anguish and when Sunny told her Sid wanted to out with on Valentine's day, Rosie thought she might be coming down with something.
"But, he's got a date," Sunny text and sent her a pic of Kylie.
Rosie just stared at the pic. She couldn't deny Sunny a lousy Valentines day. She would manage somehow. After all, Sid was going out with someone. A girl from the University.
"How in the world did that happen?" Rosie asked when they met up to study at the library. Rosie knew Sid was extremely shy.
"I dunno. I guess his friends set him up." Sunny shrugged as if he didn't really care.
Rosie only winced feeling someone needed to care. What if she wasn't as nice as she looked? What if she was a horrible person? She'd hate for Sid to get mixed up with someone who didn't care about him at all.
It left her wanting to see Sid more. She hated this feeling. What was wrong with her? Her life had been bliss with Sunny until she met his brother. She needed to put this out of her mind.
But she didn't want to think about her own life, living between two families while her dad was out being the lone truckdriver who never called nor returned her messages.
She hoped this thought of Sid passed. She'd have to meet this Kylie and hoped that she appreciated someone like Sid.
