How do you get out of this one

Joey guessed it was the least he could do...go to Worlds of fun with his daughter Dakota. But that meant taking Byron too.

"But..I thought his name was Noah." Joey was stumped. He shook his head, he clearly remembered Dakota talking about 'Kevin' as well (not long ago.) "Which is it?" He wanted to know. After all, he wanted Liv, his wife, to be at ease, that he could take responsibility.

"I don't know where Kevin came from?" Dakota looked at him puzzled while they were packing the small SUV.

He gave her a perturbed look, that she better come clean on this.

"Well," Dakota hugged herself and looked up at him, ever so clever. "I just thought his name was Kevin." She told Joey she was beginning to think he'd come to any name like a likable puppy.

Joey almost laughed, but knew that wasn't the father thing to do.

"Noah Byron is his name, but everybody says he looks more like a Byron than a Noah." Dakota shrugged.

"Oh, really?" They got ready to go and a few minutes later they were at Xander's to pick up the boy that his daughter considered her very best friend.

Of course, they squabbled in the backseat for a bit while Joey drove out of town. Noah's foster brother Matty was riding shotgun on their trip to the amusement park.

Xander was already driving ahead with his oldest son Sunny and his girlfriend, along with Sunny's brother Sid and his girlfriend Cher.

Never in a million years did Joey ever think he would be this sort of family man. Still, it felt good to be part of a real family, which was his own. He just hadn't imagined his daughter would be involved with someone already. Of course, she and Noah were only friends.

Still, he felt he was getting ready for the future even on a road trip like this.
