there I go
"It was so obvious," Amira shook her head, thankful there was Char to talk to about this revelation about Ste and his brother Jaxon. After all, she only had Jared to turn to at work and he was being impossible lately. Luckily, she didn't bring him up. Ste and Jaxon were all she had on her mind. At the moment Ste was out shopping for ingredients with Diago. The girls stayed back at the bakery to give the ovens a good cleaning after closing.
"And his brother came all the way from London, just to find him?" Char winced. She thought it was odd. Couldn't he have found this out a while ago when they were both in England?
"Who knows, maybe..maybe Jaxon just found out," Amira shrugged. There was a lot Amira didn't know and Ste was being mute. "But he's at the university now." Amira felt bad that Ste wasn't in college too. She wanted good things to happen for him, but she wasn't one to tell him what to do.
Char nodded. "It would be fun to meet him." She went back to scrubbing on the ovens.
"Oh, he'll be around." Amira could see it now. Ste would be off drinking with his brother and he wouldn't have any time for her. This was something that bothered her yet a slight relief, thinking Ste was one of those who was on a complete different relationship than her. He was a guy who honestly had sex on the brain all the time. He hadn't told her, but she sensed it.
She even went out of her way, not to kiss him. She didn't want to say it, but she was no match for him. She was a nerdy girl who liked to make sandwiches. End of story. But they did hang out and she knew she couldn't dodge the bullet, continuously. Especially, when he told everyone with optimism that she was his girlfriend.
"I bet they are a lot of like," Amira nodded. She didn't plan on knowing Jaxon, but maybe Jax would be the one who found the right girl for Ste and she'd hardly be a memory soon.
