Ste felt he was between a rock and a hard spot with his long lost brother Jaxon. Darts was the last thing he really wanted to do when his mind was on Amira and having to do so much on her own at the sandwich shop.
He was over Gabby. Although, it took him by surprise that her runaway spirit would get to him. He didn't want to think about her, and the longer this thing with Amira's help went on..he wondered if there was a connection.
He shook his head at the thought that Jared and Gabby might be together.
"What is it?" Jaxon wanted to know. Ste told him it was nothing but when Diago called, he wanted Diago to go to Cole and see if he could shed some light on the Jared situation. Of course, he would go where he needed to be needed, and he knew it wasn't with his brother.
"Look, something has come up and I need to go," Ste finally said.
"Like what?" Jaxon looked at him concerned.
"My..my girlfriend doesn't have enough help, where she works," Ste shrugged.
"Well, I'll go with you," Jaxon said he didn't know about food service but he was ready to pitch in.
Ste shook his head no, thinking Jaxon would be out of place.
"But, we're family," Jaxon was serious. "Besides, I don't know no one. Its getting kind of weird." Jaxon told him he needed something to do. "Actually, I need a mate or two." He winced.
Ste nodded. He guessed Jaxon could help. "It might be an all-nighter."
"Don't you know," Jaxon grinned. "That's my middle name."
