a home like that

Lynsey knew she couldn't finish what she started. Not with Casey.

It was true. They were a couple and she just might be the glue that held the relationship together. Which she didn't want to believe. Not originally.

Just like his brother Chance said, he needed her.

Of course, there was Alfie to think about with a bit of guilt in place. It made her feel all the while she was not the right person, for anyone. But she'd found Casey and he was possibly as odd as she was. Maybe they were a good fit, after all.

She didn't want to even discuss this with her friend Amira. Lord knows, what Amiria's input would be. And what about Alfie? She was certain Amira wouldn't understand Casey, at all.

But Alfie was younger, and they'd broke free of that one time together. It was mutual, or so she thought.

Being with Casey was her home now. Although, she really wish she could stand on her own. And if this didn't work as Casey expected, she would surely be on her own.

The unkown was such an irry feeling, but at the moment he made her smile and he smiled with her. And the past was just the past. The future looked bright even when things were not so right in the world.
