Instead of stressed I lie here charmed

 "I just wanted to try it," Mick thought he said with closed eyes before he hurled into the trash. Jools patted his back once more. Mick wished he'd made it to the bathroom in time after the rollercoaster ride. Naturally, Jools hadn't left his side once and he'd found so many ways to keep Mick from getting ahead of him.

Even when the gates opened Jools grabbed Mick's hand which Mick found rather unusual, but he didn't fight him on it. After all, folks were masked up, but it was still a herd even if they said they weren't at full capacity. 

Obviously, it felt weird holding Jools hand. Mick didn't know what to say. But every ride meant the two of them. Jools didn't get sick on any of the fast rides. His favorite was getting on what looked like a rocket but the speed flung you to the wall and then the floor dropped. Mick hung on for dear life. He was glad Jools held his hand.

"This is the most relaxing ride here," Jools said more than once on their continuous walk. They hadn't eaten any of the foods by the vendors on the fairway even if Mick wanted to.

"You might get sick," Jools would tell him at every turn. Of course, Mick did get sick and could hardly wait to get back to their room.

Finally, they met up with Matty and Valentina who were staggering along.

"What did you guys do?" Jools wanted to know. They both looked like they were sleepwalking.

"Oh, it's fine," Matty said they were both a little hot and had probably walked more than they imagined.

"I was hoping we'd be here for the fireworks tonight, but it's too hot," she sighed.

"We should go to the pool," Matty decided.

"I'm not going anywhere, but to bed," Mick pulled away from Jools thinking Matty and Val would think the worst of them, but Jools intertwined his fingers into his with a good grip. No way, would he let him go back alone.

"You guys go to the pool," Jools agreed. "Mick needs rest and a lot more water."

"But I want a burger," he fussed. Sure, he threw up but he was hungry.

"Of course, you do," Jools just smiled at him and pulled him along the fairway, leaving Matty and Val to themselves.

"Why do you keep holding my hand?" Mick almost winced sleep.

"Because, I don't want to lose you in this crowd," His brow furrowed as he marched on and Mick did his best to keep up.

"Oh, you don't want to make my sister mad," Mick sluggishly nodded, wondering how much further it would be to their hotel room.

"It's not just her," he said. "I don't want anything bad to happen. Can't you understand?"

"Oh." Maybe Mick knew, but he felt faint. The next thing he knew Jools was giving him a piggyback ride.

Honestly, this just didn't look right to Mick. But then again, he really didn't care.
